Much better news to report from this past weekends race at Ironman Texas 70.3.
I was confident I’d put in a solid first couple months work for the year and finally got to bust it out, finishing my first race this year and grabbing a podium with 3rd place on Sunday. Little bit of a monkey off the back and gives me plenty of confidence for a big season ahead with your support.
I kept eventual winner Richie Cunningham and runner up Brandon Marsh honest till half way through the run but being the 3rd race in 4 weeks I’ve travelled to, just pulled up a bit short on fitness to run it out to the end.
Really looking forward to working hard now the next month ahead in prep for my next race which will be the Wildflower Triathlon.
